Unfortunately, the course is not playable due to the weather and the golf tournament is canceled.

Matt has been in touch with the club all night into this morning monitoring the weather from the Victoria Exes Extreme Weather Doppler News Supercell Center and offers the following update.

10:17am - Weather seems to be pushing out to the east but questions remain on the course condition.  As of now, the tourney is still ON.  We expect another update in the 10:45am timeframe.

8:51am - Club will make the call regarding cancellation of the event at 10:00am.  In the event of cancellation, we may still have a little social at the club this afternoon....more info to follow shortly.

This site is for Victoria area fans and alumni of the Texas Longorns and The University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of the site is to inform Longhorn fans about fun local events such as game watching parties and scholarship fundraising activities.   

This site is sponsored by the Victoria Area Chapter of the Texas Exes.  The Chapter represents a broad geography including Jackson, Victoria and Goliad counties. 

Our goal is to support the community of Longhorns in our area as well as raising and distributing money for scholarships.  Since 1991 alone, the Chapter has raised over $90,000 for scholarships to students attending the University.

You do not need to be an alumnus of the University to be a member of this website.  We encourage all local fans to support the Longhorns and to attend events that we have through the year.
